Andre De Villiers and Brendan Paige are two of the most progressive barefooters in the world, and you won’t believe some of the things they’re doing on the water these days. These young lads are pushing freestyle barefooting to new levels, and with the help of Chuck Gleason of Barefoot Central and Eagle Sports, have a venue to showcase their skills. For 2012, the BFC Freestyle Challenge was a three-round freestyle barefoot video contest where athletes submitted a 3-5 minute edited video of their craziest moves throughout the summer. Cash payouts, prizes and points were awarded for each round in pro and amateur divisions, and this year De Villiers claimed his fourth BFC Freestyle World Champion title belt.
