Length: 145cm Width: 41.5 cm
MSRP: $269.00
Surf Style: Board is big and smooth, but hardly snappy. It is a good choice for recreational riders.
Big Air: Edges fairly well and generates good speed, but doesn't have a great pop off the wake.
Spinner: One of the longer boards in the test the 145 feels a little sluggish in the air.
Inverts: Takes a long time to rotate over your head. Good speed into the wake helps make up for big feel in the air.
Lightweight: Board is big and stable, but not too wide that a lighter person-couldn't have fun on it.
Heavyweight: The perfect board for a big rider who wants a blend of forgiveness and performance.
Rough Water: Not exceptionally wide for its length, the DV8 145 motors through the roughest waters a wakeboarder would want to encounter.
Comments: Blindside's DV8 is a forgiving board that is exceptionally easy to land. The 140 cm version is an excellent recreational board for everyone in the boat while the 145 is a big wide board that smoothes out rough water as well as anything out there.
