Test notes: Intermediate tester said he felt stable and in control on the Concept. One advanced tester wanted to make more adjustments with the fin, but the slider fin only allows fore and aft fin adjustments. If it allowed fin depth adjustments then the ski could be 100 percent dialed in.
Performance: If you're moving up from a recreational slalom ski, you will find the Concept generates a lot more acceleration. It also has a good leaning-edge to turning-edge transition.
Advanced: The Concept has had a tournament presence since 1988. If you want a ski that has been a proven winner year after year then this could be the ski for you. The Concept is a forgiving high performance ski, which will allow the advanced skier to produce consistent results.
