Test notes: An advanced tester was surprised at how well this ski handled the slalom course. Easy to turn and fun to ride. Speeds between 24 and 30 mph are comfortable for this ski.

Recreational: Very stable for deepwater starts. Great for beginners, because it only seeks an edge if you want it to.

Sport: Provides the mid-level skier with good edge control and allows for nice carving turns. Good for practicing the basics that will prepare you for the slalom course.

Performance: If you're a high-end skier and are looking for excitement, the Axiom II is up to the task. It's even capable of running the course into 32 off at 32 mph.
