Radar Skis and its team of pros were so pleased with the performance of last year’s Radar Strada water ski that they’ve revamped the entire Radar water ski lineup in the Strada’s image. In fact, all seven 2011 Radar slalom skis now feature all of the Strada’s technology, including it’s fluid rocker, parallel side cut and 5-speed rails.
While every 2011 Radar slalom ski shares the same physical features, each is designed for a particular level of slalom skier. For example, the Radar Strada’s narrow profile and super-lightweight PVC core are designed for high-end, expert-level skiers. As you down the 2011 Radar ski line, however, the skis get wider, adding stability at slower speeds. As a result, the short-line, 36-mph performance of the Strada feels a lot like the intermediate-level Radar P-6 at 30 mph.
