Overview: Since the majority of tournament skiers compete below 36 mph and struggle to maintain their outward direction and glide off the second wake into the turn, HO Sports modified the bevels (by making them smaller) and concave design (it’s shallower now) of the highly successful A1. Faster acceleration and quicker edge changes mean early turns and great angle for 32 and 34 mph slalomers.
We think: The S1 is for skiers looking to shorten rope lengths this summer – it’s responsive and is perfect for skiers who are looking to attack the course with a vengeance.
