The performance advantages of patented GOODE carbon composite water skis are evident by looking at tournament results. Two out of three gold medallists at the 1999 U.S. Nationals competed on a GOODE. The GOODE 9200 is an evolution of GOODE's World Record ski- the GOODE 9100. While it shares the same shape and patented construction, it features a dampening layer and PowerShellTM Ready top. GOODE builds its tournament water skis with pure aerospace carbon fiber. The 9200 and 9200 Limited are the lightest skis in the world. The 9200 has a thin profile, allowing it to perform deeper in the water and slowing better at the buoy. It is quicker edge to edge, and is more temperature and rough water independent. The 9200's lighter core technology and pure carbon fiber, makes the ski 1/4 lb. lighter that the original 9100.

GOODE 8000 (New for 2000)
The 8000 is the first water ski in GOODE's new Performance Series. This carbon composite ski is for the high-end recreational, performance seeking water skier. Introduced at the recent Water Ski Expo, the GOODE 8000 will only be sold through a select retail dealer network. The GOODE 8000 derives its pure carbon construction, shape, and full concave bottom from the 9200 Tournament Skis. All 8000s will be built with a medium flex. The top of the ski and bevels will be more rounded than 9200. The 8000 will perform well for the recreational skier, along with the skier aspiring to ski the course. Says president Dave Goode, “It's positioned to outperform all competitive high-end slalom skis available at retail stores.”
