If you could change one thing about the sport of water skiing, what would it be? I want water skiing to have Olympic status. I would also like to see more kids involved, and that means doing more clinics and promotions to get today's youth interested in the sport.

What do you spend your time doing when you're not on the water? Traveling and coaching ski clinics for Correct Craft.

Favorite tournament? World Championships because I've skied every world tournament since 1981.

Best practice performance? Four at 39.5-off.

Who has helped your skiing the most? My brother Mike.

Greatest moment in skiing? The 1993 Masters because my brother Mike and I both won slalom titles. Also, winning my third world title in France was very special.

Pet peeve regarding training partners? When somebody takes too long to get ready before skiing.

What are you doing 10 years from now? Running my own business and spending most of my time not running my business. I also hope to be married with kids.

Word of advice to an up-and-comer? I have three things to say: Enjoy what you're doing, enjoy the ride, and do it when it counts.
