It was before anyone had ever heard of MTV, AIDS or ESPN; before Magic Johnson or Larry Bird had played a game in the National Basketball Association; before Muhammad Ali's last fight; before Rocky III and E.T.; before stock market analysts gave nods to Nike or Microsoft; before Coke became New or Classic; before the VW Bug became new or classic; before Ronald Reagan was a challenger to Jimmy Carter; before Wal-Mart overtook Kmart; and before anyone ever thought that we'd be looking back at everything you're about to see – for the first time or again.
