After over a month of accepting poems from skiers eager to
win a trip to Acapulco's Ski Paradise, we whittled and whittled the
list until we came up with a winner. Go to the contest

of the poems that almost won had to be disqualified because it was
15 words too long. Oops. Gotta stick by those rules. Elizabeth,
