I received some troubling news today. A great friend, pro skier Kyle Eade, sustained some very serious injuries in a jump crash this week. Kiwi, as Kyle is known to his friends, was preparing for the upcoming season in his native New Zealand. Preliminary reports have painted a grim picture that includes potential paralysis. On a positive note, Kyle is reportedly in stable condition and has good movement in one arm.
Feel free to leave Kyle messages in the comments portion of this article. Waterskimag.com will try to keep you abreast of Kiwi’s progress.

Hi Dallas, I'm not sure if this will work or not. I have been doing a search on the internet for you and Geoff (and I came across this site where you had left an encouraging message for Kyle Eade, so thought I'd try the reply! Not sure if you'll remember me, Lizzie Davidson, from (then) Channel 7 Sport. Apart from many fun times at the waterskiing and after parties, Peter Donegan and I flew to Brisbane to visit Geoff when he was in hospital. I was going through cupboards over the weekend and came across some tapes from the waterskiing and Geoff's accident. I left 7 Sport around 8 years ago but still keep in contact with a few people. I often think of you guys and wonder how things are and how Geoff's progress has gone over the years and just in general how you all are. I'm one of the few that don't have Facebook, but if you do get this message and feel like getting in touch, my email address is lizgdavidson@gmail.com
I do hope you are all doing really well. I miss those good old days!
Love from Lizzie Davidson in Melbourne.
Kiwi, we will be praying for you on your road to recovery.
We are all thinking about you and praying for the best possible recovery Kyle.
All your friends in the waterski community are pulling for you.
