Chris Parrish set a new slalom world record of 2@43 off at a tournament at the Ski Ranch in Covington, Louisiana, on June 13. The record, which was set behind the new Ski Nautique 200, is pending approval from the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF).
Parrish twice tied his previous slalom world record of 1.5@43 off during qualifying for the Ski Ranch tournament. The next day, he broke his own world record with this run of 2@43 off.
“I’m so excited,” Parrish says. “I want to thank Nautique for their support and for building the new Ski Nautique 200, the world’s best ski boat! I could not have done this behind any other boat.”

I remember over 50 years ago when a NC person set a new world record. How do we find out all of the record holders since day one?
IS anyone surprised that it happened behind a Nautique 200? I think not.
Yup…and it could have happend behind a MC or Malibu just as well.
What a beatiful photo: A slaom skier, A tournament ski boat, no tower….
Closed bow too. Beautiful.
How can you tell if it's a closed bow from that picture?
Look at the windshield, no cross-through pane.
