Professional water skier Jennifer Leachman LaPoint is championing a pilot TV show to help fund youth sports like water skiing through the Pepsi Refresh Project. LaPoint’s Good Idea would use TV and the Internet to showcase kids in sports, including a TV pilot called Road To The Top that would follow four young basketball, surf, water ski and golf athletes and show how they balance school and training with just being kids. Proceeds from the program would provide opportunities for kids in sports.
