Goal: Build my injury resistance for 2011. I have been in this game for a long time, so over the past 15 off-seasons, I have figured out what works best for me. Obviously, my favorite things to do in the gym are the sort of exercises that will make my T-shirts fit tighter. Unfortunately, that sort of training has never paid off for me in terms of distance off the ramp. For me, it’s all about staying strong and balanced, but not necessarily getting bigger.

Monday: Plyometrics and weight training circuit
(45 minutes)
Wednesday: Lower body power training and core
(45 minutes)
Friday: Balance work and weight training circuit
(45 minutes)
