Ventura, CA (April 21, 2011) – Militia’s Sac-Town Gold Rush will see the world’s top water ski professionals battling it out for a shot at $55,000 in cash at Shortline Lake in Sacramento, CA, June 21-22. This event will be heavily captured in photo and video formats by Militia to show the lifestyle, adventures, backgrounds and what it really feels like at a big cash prize event.
With $55K on the line, Gold Rush is the largest cash prize event in years and is expected to turn out intense competition and amazing carnage; there’s even a Best Crash Award for those who go down in flames. “I can’t wait to see everyone in my stomping grounds,” said Sacramento pro jumper Brian Kinney. “Great to bring back a Pro Event to the Golden State!”
The invitation-only event focuses on promotion and renewing the spirit of water ski sports based on athlete commitment and pride. This will be an amazing opportunity for athletes shooting at records, as the conditions at Shortline Lake are anticipated to be immaculate and the athletes will be hot off of the LA Night Jam. The “Gold Rush” will be shown in a Raw manner, emphasizing freedom of expression – which Militia is all about – as well as lifestyle and amazing action.
