BEHIND THE PHOTO: “March 2012 marked my first visit to Australia, and downtown Melbourne is truly a stellar venue to host a water ski event. For this shot of European jump champ Stephen Chritchley, I was sitting on a floating dock about 15 yards from the ramp. My beer was cold, and I was stoked taking night shots of the world’s best jumpers. Thirty-minutes after the night jump event ended, the sky lit-up with a firework’s display that gives the home of Mickey Mouse a run for its money.”–Todd Ristorcelli
