Tantalizing Tumble Turns

Remember the guy on your lake who zipped around on his bare feet, then laid down and spun around in a fury of twisted arms and legs, only to arise again and leave the other skiers in his spray? We all do. The guy or girl who could walk on water and throw a trick or two was the envy of every skier.

The trick is called a 360 tumble turn, and despite its shore-side complexity, it's one of the easiest barefoot moves in the book. It's the basic of the eight tumble turns, for it plays off your natural direction and is the most comfortable to perform. Even novice footers who are comfortable on two feet can pull it off in one day. Follow these six steps and you'll soon be on your way to being the new big dog on the dock.
