Grabs are a great way to accent a move and give it your own personal style. The names of most wakeboarding grabs have evolved from other board sports like snowboarding and skateboarding. Grabs are defined by which hand and where you grab the board.
Method: Lead hand, heel- side edge, ahead of front foot.
Indy: Rear hand, toeside edge, between feet.
StaLEfish: Rear hand, heel- side edge, between feet.
MelAn: Lead hand, heel-side edge, between feet.
Crail: Rear hand, toeside edge, ahead of front foot.
Slob: Lead hand, toeside edge, ahead of front foot.
There are endless variations on these basic grabs.
