A Match Made in Heaven

Reno, Nevada, sits at 5,000 feet above sea level, making it about as close to heaven as a skier can get. It's where Wes White and family decided to set up shop (literally) in order to tear up lakes Pyramid, Tahoe and Shasta, sometimes two to three times a week.

White, owner of Cars and Stripes, a Reno detail shop, combined his career and hobby when he created his 1992 Chevy Suburban and 1996 Ski Centurion Falcon Sport duo. He and his wife, Ann, and children, Ian and Allison, take the tandem all over Nevada and California, searching for footing water and garnering second looks on the highway and on the ramp. It's easy to see why.

The Chevy and Centurion feature matching purple paint/gel-coat schemes, custom matching wheels, tinted glass, matching custom interiors, matching graphic designs and Centurion logos, and General Motors 350 engine blocks.

Truly, a match made in heaven.
