Besides a properly sized and rated spare tire, carry an extra set of bearings, seals and extra wheel-bearing grease. It wouldn't be a bad idea to bring a complete hub with bearings just in case.
Also, a minimum of five extra lug studs and lug nuts – even a complete hub – are the tools of proven tow vehicle captain.
