Jack Travers, renowned personal coach of some of the greatest champions in waterskiing history, has joined Connelly Skis, Inc. as a consultant.

Jack has been involved with the design of several popular slalom ski models that are currently used by tournament and professional slalom skiers. Connelly is in the developmental stages of a new tournament slalom ski and we are pleased to add Jack's design expertise to that of our research and development staff and the team of athletes currently under contract with Connelly. No introduction date has been set for Connelly's new tournament slalom ski. Jack will provide technical input on the design and performance of the new ski. He will use a wide variety of ability levels from expert recreational skiers to professional athletes with varying skiing styles for the best product evaluation.

We are also proud to announce that “International Tournament Ski Center” (ITS), a well known ski school in Florida owned by Jack Travers, will be a test center for future Connelly products. Athletes training at ITS will have the opportunity to provide performance feedback and have slaloms tuned to their personal style of slalom skiing.
