For the first time since the opening round, the jumpers had the advantage of a headwind, resulting in jumps more than 30 feet longer than the previous two days. June Fladborg jumped an outstanding 155 feet but it wasn't enough to keep the number-one seeded Emma Sheers from taking home first place. Sheers set the weekend tournament record for women's jump with a mark of 170 feet.

Freddy Krueger defeated Jaret Llewellyn right out of the gate on his opening jump of 231 feet, the longest jump of the event. Llewellyn's 227-foot effort gave him second place.
