Polk City, FL – January 19, 2009 – The American Water Ski Educational Foundation, (AWSEF) is currently accepting competitive proposals for a long term lease-use agreement of its competitive Water Sports Lake known as Lake Grew.
The Lake is located adjacent to the Water Ski Hall of fame at 1251 Holy Cow Road; Polk City, Florida, 33868-8200 in Polk County Florida, just off of Interstate 4. The recently refurbished facility is ideal for a private or public training or competition site and includes a water ski jump, Slalom course and out-buildings.
The AWSEF Lake Grew Lease Committee is accepting bid proposals for a Page 2 long term lease agreement of the facility to a qualified entity. Certain and specific requirements are outlined in a Request-For-Proposal Document supplied upon request. Lease term and cost will be considered on a competitive bid basis, but does not constitute the whole or entire basis for acceptance. A written confirmation of intent to respond to this RFP is required by February 16, 2009.

All proposal Submissions are due by 12pm on March 16, 2009. Any proposal received at the designated location after the required time and date specified for receipt shall be considered late and non-responsive. Any late proposals will not be evaluated for award. Personally submitted and electronic proposal will not be accepted. No submissions will be accepted after that date. NO EXCEPTIONS. Proposal Submissions will be responded to by April 11, 2009.
