Parrish Sets World Record Behind A Nautique

ORLANDO, FLA (June 14, 2010) – Team Nautique skier Chris Parrish set a new slalom world record of 2@43-off behind the Ski Nautique 200. The record was set at a tournament held at the Ski Ranch in Covington, Louisiana and is pending approval from the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF).

While Parrish was qualifying on Saturday, he became the first slalom skier ever to tie the current World Record, which he held, twice in one day! Following this great accomplishment, Parrish went all out to set a new World Record behind the Ski Nautique 200!

“I’m so excited; I want to thank Nautique for their support and for building the new Ski Nautique 200, the world’s best ski boat!” commented Parrish. “I could not have done this behind any other boat. The Ski Nautique 200 has the most amazing wake that sets itself apart in the water ski industry.”

“Our Nautique family is incredibly excited by this new world record set behind the Ski Nautique 200,” stated Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin. “We have heard of many tournament records and personal bests behind the Ski Nautique 200 this past year and are now excited to add a world record to this new boat’s long list of notable accomplishments. The Ski Nautique 200 is living up to the unprecedented praise it received when introduced last summer!” Yeargin added.
