USA Water Ski is pleased to announce that Centurion Boats has signed an agreement to be an official towboat sponsor of USA Water Ski for 2010-2011.

Centurion Boats is also the official towboat sponsor of the 69th GOODE Water Ski National Championships, and the company’s new Centurion Carbon Pro ski boat will tow the event, which takes place Aug. 7-13 in Wilmington, Illinois.

“We are pleased to strengthen our ties to three-event water skiing and USA Water Ski and look forward to a long, growing relationship,” said Rick Lee, president of Fineline Industries, Inc. “Our new Centurion Carbon Pro raises the bar in tournament towboats. This no compromise, strictly competition machine will offer a new level of technology to the serious competitor.”

Fresh on the heels of pulling the World Wakesurfing Championships, Centurion Boats is proud to introduce its new three-event boat, the Centurion Carbon Pro. Fusing aerospace carbon construction in a vacuum technology process, the new Centurion Carbon Pro is as strong and light as it is strikingly beautiful. Powered by PCM’s state of the art power system, the Carbon Pro is expected by Centurion to set new standards in performance and skiability.

“We are excited to enter into this partnership with Centurion Boats,” said Steve Upp, USA Water Ski’s director of business development and partnerships. “Centurion has had a long history of innovation with its products and the new Carbon Pro adds to this approach with a specific focus on the tournament skier.”
