KristinOrlando, FL – This Memorial Day weekend, the world’s finest water sports athletes will compete for more than $100,000 in cash and the title of Masters Champion during the 52nd Annual Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament, presented by Nautique at Callaway Gardens, May 27-30, 2011. The weekend is going to be full of championship water skiing, wakeboarding and wakeskating on Robin Lake plus new exciting activities for the entire family to enjoy.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday – live music, beach cookout, Callaway Gardens Farmers Market
Saturday – Cajun Low Country Boil, Zydeco band, beach Olympics
Sunday – BBQ, live music and introduction of the newly crowned Masters Champions
Monday – Two ski stunt shows, Nautique boats demo day
The weekend will also include an exciting head-to-head slalom exhibition presented by O’Brien on Saturday and Sunday with legendary athlete Andy Mapple skiing behind the first ever 100% electric Ski Nautique E versus Kris LaPoint behind the Ski Nautique 200. O’Brien will be auctioning off several items including seats in each boat and with all proceeds benefiting the Warrior to Citizens Project. The Warrior to Citizens (W2C) Project is a pilot program of the State of Georgia, the Georgia National Guard and veterans groups everywhere to specifically address post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in troops returning from Afghanistan and Iraq.
“Our Nautique team is excited about this year’s Masters at Callaway Gardens and the new evening activities will create a festival-like atmosphere,” stated Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin. “There will be a ton of activities for families to enjoy plus the best athletes in the world competing on the waters of Robin Lake.”
Admission is $25/adult and $12.50/child (age 6 to 12). Children age 5 and younger are admitted for free. Callaway Gardens Annual Passholders receive half-price admission. Military personnel receive free admission for themselves and up to five guests in the same vehicle with presentation of active or retired military identification.
