Digital Cameras are the way to go when trying to catch your moves and then send them to your friends and family. There are many digital cameras to choose from and the info can be a bit confusing. Here are few rules to follow.
Rule 1. Ease of use. — Digital cams are not just click and shoot. Not only do they have ample options on the cam side but you also have to process the picture when it’s done. Does the cam you are looking at come with easy to use software? Does it store the picture in a easy to use format that can be transmitted via email of floppy disk?
Rule 2. Storage is the key. What type of media does the camera store it’s images on. Some of today’s cameras use flash cards, CD-RW or floppies. You need to ask your self these questions. How many pictures do I want to take at a time? What is the cost of the media? Do I have to have any special attachment to upload these files, and if I do need an attachment does it come in the package?
Rule 3. How long will it last. Battery life is important to you. Think of it, you are out watching your friend do the best trick ever and you can’t take the picture because the battery is out of juice. Check the box to see how many hours of use you get from the battery and then check the cost of a new battery. It is alway a good idea to have an extra.
Remember ”Buyer Beware!” Reserch the camera you are intesrestd in and don’t buy it the first time you see it. Make sure you feel comfortable with the purchace.
