The 2000 Cuervo European Wakeboard Pro Tour, first staged in 1991, will visit five countries over the summer months. This Tour attracts pros from all over the world and will be towed by MasterCraft.
Ian Birdsall, managing director of MasterCraft said, “We are very pleased to announce the 2000 European Wakeboard Pro Tour. Last year's Tour saw some excellent competition with France's Rodo Ving-Tung narrowly beating Andy Meyenberg of Switzerland for the gold-medal position. For this millennium year, we have worked hard to secure even better locations for both competitors and spectators. With the Tour already attracting significant interest from television broadcasters across Europe, we are expecting many more entrants and bigger audiences than ever before.”
Martin Lines, marketing director at Jose Cuervo, added, “Wakeboarding is as much a lifestyle as a sport, and we are delighted to be supporting this dynamic and highly competitive event for a second year. The Tour is open to all professional wakeboarders, and this year we are presenting an additional prize the Cuervo Tour Champion to the overall Tour winner.” For more information, visit them on the Web at www.eurowakeboardprotour.com.
