Description: Lake Shawnee became the site of the Shawnee Ski Club in the late 1950s when the club began leasing the lake from the county. Since then, a slalom course and ski jump has been added as well as an access road leading to the lake and new docks and shelters on the shore. It's open to the club for skiing seven days a week.
