Surprisingly, our test team rated this burly piece of work one of the most dynamic stern-drives on the market. Slalom wakes are small, the barefoot curl is wide, and launch ramps for boarders are better than average. Bigger families will appreciate the abundant storage space through the bow, gunwales, floor and either side of the engine. From the bevy of power options, we'd recommend the Volvo Penta 5.7 GSI DP for explosive hole-shot and less bowrise.
