The 202 packs a serious skiing attitude into a hull that's average in length – 20 feet, 2 inches – but monstrous in width – an incredible 102 inches. Surprisingly, our test team rated this burly piece of work one of the most dynamic stern-drives on the market. Slalom wakes are small, the barefoot curl is wide, and launch ramps for boarders are better than average. Bigger families will appreciate the abundant storage space through the bow, gunwales, floor and either side of the engine. From the bevy of power options, we'd recommend the Volvo Penta 5.7 GSI DP for explosive hole-shot and less bowrise.
