Ski Supreme 220 LS VideoWSM: What is the market for this boat?
Ski Supreme: We are aiming this boat at pretty much the same market as our V-drive. We are after the family who wants performance and water-sports fun. The direct-drive has a better slalom wake and is a little better of an all-around boat than our V-drive. This isn?t a traditional flat-bottom boat for pure slalom. We use a semi-V to help with wakeboarding and all-around pleasure boating. It has a 10-degree bottom, which is a good mix. Too much vee and you get a lot of roll in the boat when you?re going around the corners. With a semi-vee, you get the performance of a flat-bottom inboard but with a smoother ride and a better wakeboard wake.
What are the best features on the boat?
One thing that is unique on this boat is our rear storage will open from the back so you can access the trunk from the swim platform. Then, when you are inside the boat the back seat lifts up so you can access the same storage area from inside the cockpit. All of our seats have hinged cushions for easy access to storage. The dash this year is all black, which reduces reflection, and on the passenger side the glove box is black, soft-touch vinyl, which eliminates rattle.
How do you position this, more toward luxury, sporty or value?
This ride is all-encompassing. We build the boat the way we want it and try not to consider cost. The boat has great value when considering performance and luxury and all the features. Performance-wise we design it to do everything. Feature-wise we don?t nickel-and-dime the customer. We find that people want the accessories standard, so we equip our boats the way most customers want them. Our customers pay for what they see.

Slalom
The wake is slalom course-worthy and can be taken into intermediate line lengths with no hesitation. The throttle control and driver?s comfort are positive notables, and your slalom crew will certainly like the storage capacity and deep room of the boat.
Wakeboard
Boarders will like this moderately sized wake with a killer lip that?s easy to launch. Loaded with three sacs, it definitely works for the intermediate to advanced-level rider. The tracking that the 220 LS provided was impressive, and it was solid through the double-ups.

With a solid feel and a comfortable interior design, the 220 LS is an ideal purchase for the family that wants a great multi-functional pull. Conveniently placed stereo controls by the throttle allow the captain to set the tunes to the feel of the day?s session.
