The New Storm Series Typhoon from Centurion is built off the sweet 23 Concourse V-drive hull. Centurion says it’s a boat for the serious wakeboard enthusiast, but also one that’s great for big families because of the unique step-around transom and the huge cockpit.
This is certainly one of the biggest boats you are going to see serious riders ever having fun with and it is loaded with features. Of course, the most prominent feature is the step-around transom. This makes for easy access on and off the boat as well as to the platform. Underneath the walk-through, there’s enough storage room to keep either a wakeboard or half of the dual-ballast tank system on the Storm II series. The Typhoon has an incredible amount of space throughout. At 23 feet long and over 102 inches wide, this boat is extra large. The gunnels are narrowed so the interior of the boat seems even bigger. However, it’s not too big to be well mannered. The innovative ICS construction gives the boat a great ride through chop and rollers.
The Typhoon gives great wakeboard performance as well as big, but forgiving, wakes for recreational slalom sets. The optional Bennett trim tab makes it easy to customize wakes for either sport. What it all adds up to is that the Typhoon can stir things up for any type of rider.

UPSIDE
Factory ballast provides sufficient wake performance for the intermediate to advanced riding session.
The rear step-around transom is convenient for anyone getting into or out of the boat.
Large glovebox allows more personal storage.
Swivel driver seat provides comfort and ease when transitioning from sitting to standing.
Optional bow filler cushion makes an instant and spacious sun deck in the open bow.
The electric-powered engine compartment is a welcome relief because of the large size of V-drive engine trunks.

DOWNSIDE
Limited room for fat sac storage.
When weighted the boat is fairly slow out of the hole.
