This is Supra’s biggest direct-drive ski boat and they recommend it for every water-sports activity. They note that it has been USA Water Ski approved for three-event yet retains great wakeboarding abilities. Supra designed the Sunsport to appeal to the customer wanting the looks, feel and handling of a tournament ski boat in a package that is substantially bigger. They also note the Sunsport is a deep boat, giving it good big-lake capabilities.
This is an extremely comfortable boat with a wide array of seating options. The driver gets a hi-low bolster seat and a refined cockpit area with a sleek-looking low-profile dash featuring standard Faria tournament gauges and a digital depth finder. For the passengers, Supra’s innovative Playpen seating bow arrangement with Double-Up flip-up seat backs not only gives additional forward and rear seating but also closes off the bow to keep the main cabin wind-free. Under the Playpen is an awesome storage compartment called the Basement.
We like the all-around water-sports capabilities of the Supra Sunsport. Multi-sport enthusiasts will appreciate the way the hydraulic wake plate allows you to fine-tune your wakes. This big inboard has Supra’s trademark sleek bow and beautiful interior that will turn heads whether you are skiing, boarding or just cruising the lake.
UPSIDE
This boat is a great example of putting luxury into a performance inboard with a versatile wake for high-end slalom and wakeboarding with the optional riding package.
Clamshell engine cover lets you get to the motor without removing anything from the floor of the boat.
The playpen area in the open bow provides storage, additional seating, and a wind block.
The rear storage is more than suitable in size for all of your equipment needs.
Swiveling pylon head cuts down on the wear and tear of the towline.
Deep cockpit walls provide excellent comfort and security and offer dome courtesy lighting.
Thick gunnel padding is a great comfort feature and gives the boat a finished look.

The length of the main cockpit is a little tight due to the elongated passenger seat.
The bilge pump compartment lid could use a heavier-duty plastic.
