MB calls the 190 Plus a serious slalom machine built to make and break personal bests and world records alike. The manufacturer says the all-fiberglass boat produces an unbelievable wake at all line lengths with unparalleled tracking and consistent pull. They recommend it for the family that doesn't want to sacrifice the wake and handling characteristics of a tournament inboard.
Although this boat is somewhat narrow, it has a sleek look and plenty of big features. The carbon-looking dash with five-inch Faria gauges and the racy billet aluminum “bat wing” steering wheel give the driver's console a sporty look. The dual-opening clamshell motor box gives easy access to the engine. Dry side storage compartments are clean-looking and functional. There's cargo netting everywhere to hold your small items and there's even an in-dash vanity mirror.
This boat not only skis and drives great, it can also deal with rougher waters better than you'd expect from a small tournament inboard. It has reactive throttle response and incredible handling. Another aspect impossible to ignore is the boat's speed performance. Running with the stock PCM 5.7L 315-horsepower engine, the MB 190 Plus is one of the quickest out of the hole we tested. With its intelligent seating design incorporating the walk-through into an observer's seat, the 190 Plus becomes more than a hardcore ski boat. It's a comfortable, classy ride for small families.
Super-soft and small wakes from 15 off through shortline slalom will please skiers of all ability levels.
