MB says the 220 Sport is a culmination of the company's drive to blend a competition slalom boat with the amenities and features found on luxury boats. They say it is well suited for the traditional slalom ski family that has made the transition to wakeboarding, giving the best of both worlds.
No inboard has more comfortable interiors or classier lines than the 220 Sport. Its plush wraparound seating has great ergonomic appeal – everything just seems to feel right. This boat features lockable dry side-panel storage and netting everywhere for holding your gear. A Clarion CD stereo comes standard, as does a depth finder. Among its many luxury touches are its sleek, sturdy billet aluminum speaker covers and logos. The driver enjoys the benefit of large, five-inch Faria gauges, which are easily visible, a sporty-looking billet steering wheel, plus a center floor ice chest. The exterior has features such as in-gel graphics and flush-mounting cleats, and the fuel-fill cap has a convenient touch with its built-in turn key.
This boat will appeal to the sophisticated buyer thanks to its comfort and classic looks. Behind the boat, the wakes are fairly small and soft from 15 off into shortline, plus it has great tracking characteristics. With weight this boat handles the intermediate wakeboarder without a problem. The 220 Sport is a wide, roomy direct-drive that is great for lounging, but even better for skiing.
