    The Hurricane is the Elite V with one of the Storm accessory packages, creating what Centurion calls a boat that wakeboard enthusiasts won’t be able to resist. The manufacturer notes the boat has an exceptionally smooth, comfortable ride, excellent wakes and value pricing.    
    Last year’s Elite V was so successful that Centurion didn’t want to change much. However, there are some notable differences in comfort features in this year’s model. The dash is now much sleeker and the rear sun deck has a three-piece hatch for easier access to storage. The dominant characteristic of this boat is that it combines a wide cockpit with a narrow running surface. This creates a deep boat that has a superb social deck layout with wrap-around seats throughout. The narrow straked V-bottom gives it great rough-water characteristics. Also, since the bottom section of the hull is narrow, it settles into the water and gives a great wake with a few fat sacs or a full crew. The I.C.S. construction gives the boat a strong and solid feeling through rough waters.        
    Overall, the Hurricane provides a great combination of a wide, spacious boat with a narrow, maneuverable running surface. It’s a boat that’s almost as much fun to drive as it is to ride. This makes it an advanced wakeboarding boat that’s perfect for families.
