According to Malibu this newly introduced boat offers a direct-drive configuration with wraparound seating, giving the boat an unparalleled level of passenger space and comfort with inboard performance. The Sunsetter XTI is targeted at families looking for greater performance standards without compromising the space and recreational appeal of larger V-drives.
The most outstanding feature on the XTI is the unique, functional interior configuration. Malibu calls the back seating area its “pleasure lounge,” and it’s equipped with a standard removable table, available heater, stereo controls and a 12-volt powerpoint. Beyond that, this boat offers countless amenities including convenient storage throughout as well as three separate ice chests built into the sections below the seats. The driver enjoys a swivel seat with air lumbar support, a hand-stitched dash with five-inch gauges and a new, heavy-duty and supple vinyl. There’s courtesy lighting throughout the interior and a center mount retractable swivel head pylon. On the exterior there are convenient dual gas fills, a pop-up bow light, drip-molded decals and a choice of custom colors.
The Sunsetter XTI has incredible, versatile water-sports performance. It is capable of high-end recreational slalom, or with the Wedge down, high-end recreational wakeboarding. With ballast, the XTI is capable of near-world-class wakes. It’s a unique boat on the interior, but rest assured this boat, as with all the Malibu’s, is definitely capable of solid all-around water-sports performance.
