Malibu says the Wakesetter 23 LSV is spacious and luxurious with an edge on attitude. They developed the Wakesetter 23 LSV to provide wakeboarders the high-end luxury, performance standards, instrumentation, comfort and size previously reserved for the sport and slalom market. This boat’s goal is to provide huge rampy wakes for the riders and plush interior for the driver and passengers.
This boat provides awesome comfort throughout. The seat cushions are thick, reclined and there’s more than enough room for 13 passengers. The driver has an adjustable seat with air lumbar support and a newly designed dash with easy-to-read five-inch servo gauges driven by reliable Venturi pickups. Other features include dual ice chests, a removable table, lockable rear-storage, pop-up bow lights, flush-mounted cleats, dual gas fills and more.
For the rider, this boat has a 55-gallon fuel tank, a three-part ballast system and the newly redesigned Wedge. This is truly a multiple-personality boat. Riders can quickly tweak the wakes to suit any style. The Wedge creates a kickier wake, the MLS ballast makes a rampy wake, and the two together create a massive multi-purpose wake. With some additional ballast, the 23 LSV creates true world-class wakes. Even more interesting is that a weighted Wakesetter 23 LSV has great handling and performance thanks to Indmar’s Monsoon 325 engine. There’s no question that the Wakesetter 23 LSV is a great rider’s boat, but it is also a beautiful luxury cruiser.
UPSIDE
The wakes of any 22-1/2-foot V-drive are going to be big, but not all of them are going to be as clean or smooth at the top as the 23 LSV.
Incredible power and handling for its size, with excellent cornering ability — takes double- ups like a champ, and provides a smooth ride with little or no bounce.
Dual gas fills allow convenient stops at the gas pump.
A standard open-bow centerpiece filler cushion and bow wind block are welcome comfort amenities.
Recessed interior lighting means you can ride until dark and still find your way around the boat.
There are two huge coolers in the bow.
The speedo pickups are switchable by controls located on the dash.
