Malibu calls the WakeSetter its value-packed boat that provides awesome performance. They say it’s a boat that gives newcomers a chance to enjoy all the advantages of owning a Malibu.
True to form, the WakeSetter features the best of what makes a Malibu. It has the FibECS fiberglass engine chassis system for durability and vibration disbursement, plus the new Space Age floor system, which ties the hull and deck together and provides sound-dampening effects. The WakeSetter’s dash is pure Malibu with performance components such as five-inch servo instrumentation. The new interior is luxurious and spacious and features rack-and-pinion steering, zero-friction throttle cables and customized underwater gear such as a CNC-machined propeller perfectly balanced for this boat. On the exterior, the WakeSetter comes in a myriad of color combinations with tattoo-style graphics.
With the help of the Wedge 23 and standard center ballast system, the WakeSetter kicks up some of the best wakes on the water. To enhance the wakes even further, we recommend putting a fat sac in the oversized trunk. And, if you want to do a ski set, flip the Wedge up and you have an amazingly easy boat to ski behind. For the people who don’t want to spend $40,000 on a boat, but want to ride real wakes behind a real wakeboarding boat, the WakeSetter is the perfect machine.
