Correct Craft says its Air Nautique represents the company’s innovative mind. Stating that the Air Nautique was the first boat specifically marketed for wakeboarding, they believe this boat is capable of offering the perfect wakeboarding experience.
This boat drives, tracks and handles exceptionally well thanks to Correct Craft’s innovative laser-aligned underwater gear and tunable rudder. Additionally, the Teleflex gauges on the ergonomically designed cockpit have a deviation indicator that makes it super simple to hold speed even without the optional Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro speed-control system. All the switches on the panel are touch sensitive, including the coded keyless ignition. The side console has additional gauges as well as a Clarion waterproof stereo.
For storage, the Air Nautique has a large, 14-cubic-foot locking trunk, perfect for boards or ballast. There’s a true walk-through and large bow seating section with a removable center cushion and plenty of storage under the front. There’s also a great locking in-dash cooler/storage area where the glove box is usually located.
The name “Air Nautique” has an earned mystique among wakeboarders because this boat has been producing great wakes for years. The 2002 Air Natique continues that tradition. Utilizing the Launch Control Ballast System, which adds 400 pounds of ballast to the stern, the Air Nautique offers a good-sized, extremely well-shaped wake that is also very clean thanks to the spray relief pockets. This is another super-versatile boat in the Correct Craft line.
