Hardcore Slalom
Correct Craft is making its all-new Ski Nautique for the totally dedicated core three event skier. It features the new Total Surface Control 2 hull, designed by Andy Mapple, holder of 157 slalom titles, to offer what Correct Craft says are the smoothest, flattest wakes of all time.
This closed-bow boat has a good amount of interior space. The re-designed interior is much larger than its 19-foot, 6-inch length and 91-inch beam indicate – especially with the removable and stowable one-piece stern seat out. The trunk features an electric dual hatch design that’s big enough for three 66-inch slalom skis and gear. The seating area is extremely comfortable – three inches has been added to the depth of the passenger seat.
While the wakes on this boat are virtually unmatched, the awesome experience you get behind the boat still doesn’t overshadow the interior features and driveability of the Ski Nautique. With its laser-aligned shaft, strut and tunable rudder combined with a right-hand rotating propeller, the Ski Nautique is incredibly maneuverable and simple to drive through the course.
This is truly a legendary boat and produces Nautique’s smoothest, flattest wake ever. The Ski Nautique has a heritage unlike any other in the ski business, yet it continues to innovate on the cutting edge. This is one boat that will never hold you back, whether you are trying your first pass through the course, trick skiing, jumping or aiming for any of the above world-records.
UPSIDE
Butter soft micro slalom wakes will please the toughest critics. There is no bump at 22 off and no spray at extreme line-lengths.
Tracking ability is best compared to a laser guided missile.
Offers sports car-like handling and acceleration.
The electronic keyless ignition allows convenient start-ups and worry-free trips to the lake.
Dual gas fills let you fill your tank from either side of the boat.
A perfectly tapered windshield design allows maximum visibility and convenient communication with the skier in between slalom passes.
The fighter jet-like dash has combo gauges that offer digital and analog readings and allow superior throttle corrections.
DOWNSIDE
Rear storage compartment only holds a 66-inch slalom ski. However, there is plenty of room for any size ski under the passenger’s love seat.
