Core Wakeboard
Centurion’s Tsunami is the biggest boat WaterSki magazine has ever tested. The manufacturer calls it a high-performance wakeboard ship, saying it brings a new dimension to high-performance boating as the biggest wakeboard-specific boat in the world. The Tsunami is certainly something you can ride or even surf behind. Plus, for big lakes, this boat is the machine to power you to the calm water fast. This hull has vents with steps and is designed with the boat’s shape to maximize the speed potential. You can really feel them work.
Of course, this vessel is loaded with features, most notably the forward cabin. The bow section in front of the open seating has a six-foot cabin which is so spacious that two people could easily sleep down there. At the dash, the Tsunami has the incredible System View SC 5000 Integrated Vessel information system. Made by Mercury to tie into its engine, its screen provides an incredible multitude of GPS-driven features such as speed, vital systems, your location and much, much more. The Tsunami has two 45-gallon fuel tanks and a huge stern sun deck, with the option of a factory-installed stereo system that pumps tunes as loud as anyone on the water.
But, most interesting is the fact you can actually ride behind this huge boat. The wakes are massive, and with the Perfect Pass and the trim tabs you can actually dial in the boat for some real riding performance. This is the only boat we’ve ridden that doesn’t require added weight to produce world-class wakes. To summarize, the Tsunami is all about big. Big wakes, big water and, of course, big fun.
