Centurion’s Storm Series wakeboard boats are crashing
through the water, so to speak, with an awesome combination of
standard features and options to excite riders and onlookers alike.
The most ferocious tropical storm is the hurricane, so it’s
appropriate that Centurion bestowed this name on one of its most
ferocious boats.

The Hurricane is the boat for all boarders, though it can quiet
down the swells for recreational skiers as well. A fully weighted
Hurricane provides advanced-level riding wakes with gradual
transitions, perfect shape and clean double-ups without wash.

For Pete’s sake, don’t drive it through an actual
hurricane, but if you’re just tackling choppy water the
Hurricane will plow through with a solid, no-rattle feel. It holds
the rail in tracking, and once boarders start their aerial
acrobatics, it holds speed with ease.

Take shelter onboard when you need to relax. Being creatures of
comfort, we liked all the creature comforts. The large steering
wheel and carbon graphite aesthetics are easy on the eyes. An
extremely deep open bow and large coolers in the walkways provide
loads of storage, allowing plenty of open space and legroom for a
comfy gathering of up to 10 people. The standard gradual rise in
freeboard height from the transom to the bow makes for a deep
cockpit, great for rough-water rides. The solid tower doesn’t
obscure any visibility, and the ballast tanks are fairly quiet. Add
to that the easily accessible gauges, the eight drink holders, the
wraparound seating, the new 40-ounce snap-out carpet and the
three-piece split rear hatch with lots of storage, and you’ve
got true comfort.

It’s big fun on the water but with great maneuverability.
Sounds like the time is ripe for a Hurricane. Don’t tell us
we didn’t warn you.

The Lowdown:

  • Top-of-the-line ramps with excellent shape, which are suitable
    for boarders of all levels.

  • Recreational family slalom performance.

  • A deep V-hull design combined with the high freeboard make for a
    great rough-water ride.

  • High on the comfort scale with cushy wraparounds, eight cup
holders, a split rear hatch for easy access to the multitudinous
storage, lots of legroom, and more.

  • Snap-out carpet for easy cleanups.

  • A guage and steering package that's good to look at and easy to
    use.
