Yes, you can have too many friends — at least
when it comes to boats. But Moomba’s engineers don’t
want you to turn anyone away from a big day of big air, so they
offer a bigger Moomba, the 12-person Mobius V. At 22 feet,
it’s the longest wakeboard boat in the Moomba lineup.
As a result, this is the only Moomba with playpen seating,
double-up flip-up seats and oversized wakeboard and ski storage
under the walk-through and bow. That’s a lot of
“basement” space for gear and ballast. We even found
all the legroom we needed and plenty of other accessible caverns to
stash stuff. There seemed to be a cup holder everywhere we looked,

But to get the party started, you need a killer wake. This
V-drive doesn’t disappoint. With the three-bag Bertha Ballast
System and the Hydraulic Wake Plate, we generated near pro-level
wakes with large double-ups, smooth transitions and excellent
landing zones. From the driver’s perspective, the Mobius V
had extremely well-attuned responsiveness for a V-drive. Tracking
was very good, and we powered solidly through double-ups. The
foam-filled double sidewall construction helped keep the sound down
while enhancing the smooth ride.
So if you want to host your own aquatic Mardi Gras, you’re
ready with the Mobius V. Feel free to tell all your friends.
•Extra room and accommodations for up to 12 people, the

underneath to keep gear and ballast out of your way.
•Mix around the seating with the double-up flip-up
