When checking out the wakeboard- and wallet-friendly
Mobius, we noticed right off the bat that everything was plenty
wide. We’re talking the rear seat, the walk-through to the
open bow, the bow seats and the overall roominess side to side.
That translates into space for all the uses of this inboard. For
wakeboarding, riders can activate the electric pumps and load up
the Bertha Ballast System—one bag is standard, two are an
option for up to 800 pounds—to sculpt out a wake. Ratchet up
the boat’s attitude with the optional Hydraulic Wake Plate to
polish the lip and transition. Hook onto the Rad-a-Cage tower that
comes standard, and get a nice challenge from the Mobius’
advanced-level wakeboarding wakes. The roomy interior keeps your
fans comfortable, while the next boarder in line has space to get
ready.
If any skiers manage to sneak on board, they won’t be shut
out. Empty Bertha and the Mobius produces near tournament-level
slalom wakes. Look for storage space, especially the deep and large
locker in the walk-through, to house all the ski and wakeboard
gear.
While driving, we enjoyed the new soft-touch side armrest,
optional bolster seat and perfect throttle positioning, which came
in handy as we got in tune with the Mobius’ responsiveness. A
set with the Mobius can satisfy everyone, especially your
wakeboarders and your accountant.
