Ski
Supreme’s 220 SP is a direct-drive wakeboarding boat that
recreational skiers can also enjoy. Its wakes are softer at longer
line lengths and slower speeds, so you may want to shy away from
the 28 and 32 off runs. The 220 holds a tight line when pulling
skiers and riders alike and makes for a smooth ride with its deep
V-hull and above-average
tracking.
Inside, passengers ride in comfort in a deep boat with
everything well padded. The legroom at the rear seat is by far the
best in the house. From there, you can also take advantage of the
cup holders nicely positioned at the back of the engine box. And
even better, you can easily get to your equipment from the transom
dual-access storage compartment.
Overall,
the 220 SP gave us a solid ride and nice recreational wake
performance, especially at the slower speeds.
The Lowdown:
-
Built for intermediate wakeboard sets and low-key, lower-speed
ski sets. -
Rear storage compartment is conveniently accessible from both
sides of the transom. -
Optional Sky Package includes tower, graphics and W.E.T. ballast
system. -
Back seat offers great legroom, with an ice chest stashed
underneath and cup holders within easy reach. -
The deep V hull and high freeboard take on rough water extremely
well.
