The Supra Launch SSV Gravity went through the ultimate
demonstration at last year’s Gravity Games, the popular
action-sports and lifestyle festival. Before thousands of fans and
a national television audience, the top male wakeboarding pros
launched whirlybirds, giant 360 methods, batwings, Tootsie Rolls
and more behind this Supra in the waters of Cleveland’s North
Harbor.
You may not be able to match that arsenal of tricks yet, but the
Launch SSV Gravity will at least have you looking like a pro at
first glance as you beef up your skills on its meaty world-class
wakes. This enhanced edition has everything the regular model
offers: three-bag ballast system, Rad-a-Cage tower, hydraulic wake
plate and all the interior cushiness and storage you could hope
for, including an in-floor oversized equipment locker. It even has
double-up flip-up seats in the bow and convertible rear-facing
stadium seating in the stern.
Where it’s different is in custom touches that make it an
exact replica of the towboat in the 2002 Gravity Games, which
marked the debut of Skier’s Choice’s three-year deal
with the Games. The white, black and red gelcoat scheme and special
decals match the look as seen on TV, while the black trailer has
red and white pinstripes. The tower comes with a red powder coating
as well as wakeboard racks and speakers for the 800-watt amp and
Sirius satellite radio. A stainless-steel four-blade prop, aluminum
wheels and illuminated step plates complete the Gravity
package.
