For a boat that's only in its second year of production, the Session 22Xi really has its act together. This three-event wake-sports boat – wakeboard, wakeskate, wake surf, as the company's president has it positioned – is totally legit. Our testers loved the wake behind the Xi's innovative interior layout and design. With features like the Sky Box seating and the flip-up seats on the transom, this boat really caters to witnessing the action on the water.
You can really mack out the cockpit, too. Features like the multimedia surround-sound theater and a 10-inch flat-screen TV, eight speakers, a boomin' subwoofer, and audio/video jacks really enhance the riding vibe. Complete the on-water experience with CDs, MP3s and DVDs. Record your wake sessions with a video camera and get instant viewing while you kick back in this inviting cockpit.
The open bow is equally inviting. It's roomy, super-comfy, and the forward-facing seats open on hinges for deep and easy storage access. The Xi will certainly have impact in '04.
Wakeboarding
Bring aboard your favorite crew on this innovative wake-sport boat and fill up the four-tank 1,000-pound internal ballast system. In just a few short minutes you'll be enjoying large wakes with smooth, steep transitions and well-padded landing zones. The double-ups are easy to get into and they'll boot you as high as you want to go. Not only are these juicy swells easy to hit, but the driving performance into them is outstanding.
