Moomba Outback LS
Recommendation: Family

The LS version is for the boat buyer who wants just a little more in an Outback. Specifically, the LS is two inches longer than the regular Outback and comes with a spacious in-floor storage locker, one more beverage holder (for seven total), a standard upholstered clamshell cover, a two-bag optional ballast system (instead of one) and two more options for a gelcoat pattern (for three total).
Add it all up, and the Outback LS still comes in at a budget-friendly cost. After all, that's a main objective of the Moomba line, balancing price with performance. But there's no skimping on features like grab rails, walk-around space and unibody fiberglass construction, all comparable to what you find in more expensive boats. From good tracking and power turns to simple gauges and storage features, the Outback LS has the basics covered — and then some.
Slalom
The wakes are pretty good at slower speeds and longer line lengths. There's a bit of a bump at 22 off, but after that the wakes soften up a good bit for those intermediate-level line lengths and for course skiers who are trying to get through 32 off.
Wakeboarding
Families with kids (and parents) trying wakeboarding might be the best bet for these lippy peaks and mild double-ups that won't launch you too high. With outstanding roominess in its size class, your riding crew will be comfortable and you'll have plenty of room for extra ballast.
