Ski Supreme V208

OVERVIEW
After our test of the '05 Sky Supreme V208, the company's most popular boat, we had a hard time ripping our team of wakeboarders away from it. With a 95-inch beam, room is abundant for chilling out and getting around without stepping on your crew's toes. A built-in step behind the driver's seat allows easy and clean entry into the cockpit without scuffing up the newly designed interior. And new Supreme billet logos give the boat a refined touch.
The deep-V hull entry with 16-degree semi-V bottom combines with the high freeboard design to create a safe and comfortable ride in adverse conditions. At the helm are plenty of nice touches. Large Faria gauges allow minute speed adjustments, a power management system keeps you up-to-date on the engine diagnostics, gauges for the ballast tanks are within easy reach, and a standard hydraulic adjustable wake plate lets you tweak the wakes to your own particular taste.

WAKEBOARDING
The Sky Supreme V208 has been sculpting sweet wakes for advanced riders and above since we first saw it at our 2003 boat tests. Our testers really enjoyed their session behind this ride. The wake is known for its smooth, peaky lip that offers great kick off the top. There's plenty of volume for pro-level moves, and we discovered impressive transitions after experimenting with different rope lengths. The boat's 52-gallon fuel tank helps add significant ballast weight while keeping bow rise to a minimum with its mid-boat placement. The V208 takes on big, solid double-ups with confidence and without jarring its passengers.

LOWDOWN
• A respectable beam for its class, 95 inches, has passengers stretching out in the wraparound lounge.
• A newly designed interior includes a beautiful hand-stitched dash option.
• A lot of extras come standard in this ride — depth finder, air and water temperature gauges, dual gas fills and a Clarion CD stereo.
• The V208 maintains its impressive tracking and speed-holding capabilities even when fully loaded for advanced riding.
